UPdatessss
Ah. The past week has been an eventful one.

I started work, learnt quite alot of new stuff, sat beside my deputy, and diagonally across my boss. Ah. Stressful.

And this was also the week that MJ passed away.

I totally couldnt believe my ears when I heard on the radio that he died. I even went to get the My Paper just so that I could flip through it to find out about news of his passing. But apparently the news were too fast for the papers to publish them.

Disbelief turned into sadness, before I got angry at him for dying. How could he just die like that without warning? Before his heart stopped pounding, he ought to have thought of his fans, and stayed alive for a little longer, so that there would be time to prepare for his pending demise.

Oh well. Sigh.

Anyway, this was also the week that I realized that time passed damn fast. I was just hermiting during FYP, then in the blink of an eye, all the long hours that I had to endure disappeared, along with the thesis submission, poster presentation, and grad trip.

And 2009 is already half gone. =X

Anyhow, I know you guys missed me terribly. So here's a pic of me hugging my Andy Lau. Hot stuff alright! =DD

So utterly hot till my leg pop up while hugging him. =D

Job and Wedding =)
Ah. I know I promised a taiwan post, but I think it's really quite impossible. The pictures come to a whooping 20GB (from the different cameras) and I'm seriously extremely daunted by the feat of resizing all the pics. =XX

And so, in the time that I havent been updating, I have:

1) Watched a gazillion of drama serials. Namely,

a) The greatness of a hero

b) Atashinchi no danshi (still showing in Japan. =XX)

c) Nodame Cantabile

d) Mei-chan no Shitsuji

e) We Got Married (numerous episodes, teared when Alex and Shinae left. =((( )

f) Absolute Boyfriend (cried and sobbed like crazy)

g) Delightful Girl Choon Hyang (halfway through)

That's quite alot huh. HAHA. Sometimes I'm really amazed by how fast I can watch shows.

**

2) Went out quite a few times on the budget of a shoestring thread.

Meeting up with JC mates, Yishi, going out with Grad Trippers, cousins, ktv'ing, nua'ing over at Ah Ma house etc.

**

3) Sent out so many resumes that I felt damn demoralized at how companies werent calling me up for interviews.

**

4) Received a call from a particular company and went down for interview the next day, got an offer that day, signed the contract 2 days later, and am starting work today (after 12am my dears)

It's been like a whirlwind after so many days of rotting at home watching drama serials happily. And suddenly I was overwhelmed at the things that I had to do: signing of contract, pre-employment medical checkup, buying of working clothes yada yada yada.

And yes, I'm extremely nervous but hopeful. =))

**

5) Sent my handphone for servicing. =X

So for the time being, I'm back to using the good old Sony Ericsson orange phone-that-I-cant-be-bothered-to-check-for-model-number. It cant read all of the SIM card contacts that I have, and so I'm currently living without alot of numbers. Pardon me if I call you back to ask who smsed.

**

6) Attended my good friend's wedding!!

Shaur Shaur has gotten married on Saturday, and I was one of the Jie Meis. =DD

Due to the busy nature of a jie mei, I couldnt take many pics, and so here are some that were taken when I had a little time on my hands. =))

Photobucket

The beautiful bride and me! Shaur shaur seriously looks ang moh'ish. =DD

After all the gatecrashing in the morn, visiting the new house, tea ceremony and all, we finally made it to the Legends at Fortcanning Park.

Photobucket

And this is the bride that was munching on rabbit food, feeling utterly hungry after everything in the morning.

Photobucket

And this is the groom that dagger stared me whenever he had the opportunity to, believing that I was the main culprit for the wasabi digestive tarts. I forgot that I was sitting in the bridal car to get around, and was utterly worried about my safety while in the car.

Photobucket

Camwhoring while Shaur's doing her makeup!

Photobucket

And another zipai. HAHA.

Photobucket

GSM and me! Hooohooo~~

Photobucket

GSM and the chio bride that didnt believe that she's chio. =D

Photobucket

Coffee table book. Damn pretty.

Photobucket

And the flower girls' baskets! The flower girls were absolutely adorable. Ahhh..

Photobucket

And the flower girl. HAHAHAHA.

Just kidding.

Photobucket

Oh oh oh. I'm absolutely in love with this polaroid. Damn pretty. But damn ex. $1.30 for that polaroid picture alone. Ahhh.. But damn chio! Ahh.. =XX

Back from grad trip and missing it so tremendously
Oh yes, and so I'm back from my grad trip that lasted from 11th to 25th May.

And though the grad trip had some minor unhappiness going on, we all had a blast. We took LOADS of pics (mostly in taiwan), and ate loads of good food, and laughed through our 15days together.

After coming back for a week, I kept wanting to go back to taiwan and hongkong and shenzhen. And the feeling is that I wanna go back there with the same bunch of people, and nobody else but the same bunch of friends, to try the new food, explore new places, and bicker like crazy together.

For the first time in a week, we finally met up today (alright, yesterday) for lunch and ktv and dinner and drinks at StarBUCK si. The feeling that I get now, is a totally comfortable feeling. It's the eight of us, and just the eight of us. Just like how we were a week before.

And towards the end of the day, though we normally end it with a simple dinner after ktv, we decided to go for a more elaborate dinner this time. Followed by drinks at our favourite StarBUCK si. It's as though everyone's trying to hold on to more time together, though we have had a long day and everybody's tired and all. Just one more drink. Just a few minutes more, a few more bickers, and a few more laughters before we embark on our different lives, to pursue our futures with PhDs or jobs or whatever.

It finally ended with me yawning every few minutes, with Xiaodi being lost in all conversations, with Boon not having the energy to bicker with me anymore, before we bade farewell to each other, and a promise to meet on the 11th for our next movie together.

And even though this sounds really cheesy and cliche, I will really look back to those memories (NOT the other one.) that we had in Taiwan, Hongkong, Macau, and ShenZhen and smile to myself. Chuckling at the stealing of underwear, the spicy fishball that caused droplets of sweat to be formed on the nose, the cycling with 3 half naked dudes, the liang teh that we forced the guys to drink before they were allowed to drink their mango drink to fight the heatiness, the bargaining in ShenZhen with the stunned SJ, the trudging around in HK with soaking wet shoes, the late night gossipings till 3am, and multiple attempts to murder the Hor Sok Jing.

Not forgetting the laughters, and yeah, much to my unwillingness to say this: bottom of the food chain and yada yada yada. Yes, I know, I'm trying to force Hor Sok Jing to the bottom such that I can escape from the bottom you know. I'm trying my darnest!

I apologize to the people that don't get what the hell this post was about. I'll be back with pics soon I hope. And till the 11th of June, I'll be recalling the fun times we had, and pray that there's a time machine that could transport all of us back to the time in Taiwan and freeze us there for at least 2 more months, 'cause the time seem to fly when we are having so much fun.
