Omgosh. It's so utterly boring at work that I have surfed my facebook a million times, tagged loads of people, laughed at unglam queen's photos, walked around aimlessly, and everything there is to be done in hope that the time would pass faster.


Anyway, I'm working with my Po!





Goodness, my hair's a mess. But I'm just gonna ignore, and ignore.


Oh, then various people came down to help us kill our boredom. On tuesday, Yishi came down and looked for me! And she was wearing heels and skirt! Ahhh! Super chio!!!


Then in the evening, Jay came down to accompany me and Shuling for dinner.





It was Tuesday! Gelare Day!!!! =DDDD


Xiang, Kelvin and Chao came down to visit as well. That Xiang shocked me la, suddenly smacking me on my back while I was serving a customer (I think), and I jumped in shock. Like literally jumped la. =S


But they left so quickly that I didnt get the chance to take pictures with them. =(((


On Wednesday, Yueh-Hsin came down to visit me!


And we went to eat Ajisen. Wooooo!


But as Shuling was waiting to go for her dinner, and it wasnt nice to stay for long. So we chop chop finished the ramen, and left.


And the bimbotic Pulau Ubin was so nice as to stay with us till we closed to entertain us la. =D

FOC 2008 just ended today, and once again, I'm gonna miss FOC like crazy.




The damn adorable Horae (minus the Zen that was taking the pic) that I'm gonna miss.


Actually this camp, it felt more like the seniors zi high'ing camp than a freshies camp. 'cause the seniors were forever zi high'ing whereas the freshies just smile at us.

First day was a little awkward. 'cause I wasnt supposed to be there, and I know I didnt pay the money and all, but oh well. I just thickened my face and ignored everything.

1a. Ant's bday!


It was Ant's bday on 17th June, that we decided to spring him a surprise on the 16th!



The main for the day


Chao, Xiang and I went back to school with a cake, while Xiaodi coordinated with the people at lab, getting them to come down and stuff, and also, most importantly, to trick Ant down without making him suspicious of the plans.


And I guess Xiaodi's so brilliant at it (tricking I mean), talking to Ant all the way down from lab that Ant didnt even notice our presence at the benches!

We attempted to take alot of multiple shots with the timer, balancing my precious pink t20 on Jianzhong's text and I forgot what, but in the end, only Xiang and I managed to get all the different shots while the rest laughed.

1b. Mei's 11th birthday!


We just celebrated Mei's 11th birthday on the Saturday that just passed.



And freak, she's already 11!


How did the days of her looking so uber cute in her tiny little doll dresses fly by so quickly? Where did that little girl go to?


In no time, she's gonna take her PSLE, go into secondary school, and yada yada.


I was her age when she just got born. A tiny little baby with the tiniest yet longest slender-est looking fingers ever. To think I used to change her diapers, make formula milk for her, and clean up her drool with a hanky. Freak, I feel old. =(

3. New York New York + Pig Organ Mian Xian + Avocado drink!

We were at New York New York biatches!


Much to my embarrassment, it was my first time there. After walking by it like dozens of times at the Citylink, till even Lot1 also has a New York New York branch, I went there for the first time on 27th June.


Erm, Grass too. So I don't feel THAT bad. Ha.

We walked about suntec looking for the tong tong before deciding to return home to get my lappy and clothes to stay at Ah Ma house.


My nicest and dearest Kaima and Kaiye were so sweet as to pick both me and Grass up at my house (CCK) to go to Ah Ma house (Paya Lebar). On the way to picking Godma up from work though. =DDD


Godma decided to treat us to the Pig Organ Mian Xian + Avocado drink at Alexandra Village!!!!!!

Ah. I know loads of you all are disgusted by it. Derrick especially. But I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this! This is my childhood memories, a delicacy that I thought I would never have again.

4. Prawn Fishing!


Yesterday, Xiang and I went Prawn fishing with Wensheng, Eric, Lily, Colin and Pipi at Bishan Park!


Seriously, for most part of it, Xiang and I were doing this.



Sitting there rotting.


Erm, and willing the buoy to sink.


The buoy is speck of red thing that the yellow arrow is pointing at.


The principle behind the buoy sinking is that when the prawn wanna eat the bait, it would kiap the bait with it's pincers to put into its mouth. So when it is kiaping, there would be pressure exerted, thus leading to the buoy sinking.


So, for most part of the night, Xiang and I were both willing the buoy to sink.


A typical conversation went like this:


Me (peering at the buoy): "Is it sinking?"


Xiang: "No."


Me (sad): "Ok."


And I alternated between peering at the buoy and our surroundings.

-5 secs later-


Me (peering at the buoy): "Is it sinking?"


Xiang: "No."


Me (sad): "Ok."


-10 secs later-


Me (peering at the buoy): "Is it sinking?"


Xiang: "No."


Me (sad): "Ok."


Erm. Yeah. I started having hallucinations about the buoy sinking, and Xiang starting singing "Sink sink sink.." or "Come over to me prawnie, uh huh uh huh."


BUT.


When we got our first prawn, we were both so excited and exhilarated that my chair toppled over (without me in it).



Bait. Chicken liver.

Eric's damn pro la. He and Lily caught so many prawns!



The basket that we threw the prawns (yellow arrows) into.


There was one point of time that our basket dropped into the pond, and Wensheng and Colin had to use their fishing rods to try get the basket up.


But the most brilliant thing have got to be Wensheng. He managed to catch a prawn at the very same time that he rescued the basket. DAMN PRO.


And here's the first one that I caught that was so damn huge!

I know I'm a terrible blogger. I havent been updating for more than 2 weeks. So here's a flood of pics to make up for the absence k! =))


Was working at Expo last week for a seminar when Xiang and I nearly died...


... from the lack of sleep (me), and lack of entertainment (me and Xiang).


We were staring into blank space for the longest time ever.

We tried to drink tea to kill the time



For some weird reason, this tea tasted damn good.


I suspect 'cause we were so deprived there that a simple tea with sugar and creamer tasted so good.


And 'cause I kept falling asleep, I bought the mocha ice blended (twice!) from Coffee Bean when all the while I was craving for Starbucks' Dark Mocha Frappucino.


Oh well.


Drinking tea and mocha ice blended (yeah, I know. Boring.) can only kill so much of our 11 hours there that we decided to..


.. erm. compare our nails.


And I discovered that Xiang's thumb nail is as big as my big toe nail!



I'm serious!


But her nails are damn nice la. She has got such huge and long nails that they look like they are made of acrylic. She's saving so much on the acrylic nails.

Anyhow, due to our boredom, we were searching for entertainment like crazy without any success until we spotted this:

Actually, I have a damn long post in the making. Just that it's murdering me as there's like tons of pics to be posted that I just gave up halfway. Man, my determination just simply rocks la.


From last year's taiwan trip to loads of birthdays that I'm supposed to blog about, I think I have sorta given up on trying to keep up with the no. of pics taken last year.


But anyhow, I have tamed down alot this year. (Note the lack of pics, to the extent that I cant find a single zipai to post here la.) Sigh.


Note to self: I better start bringing my beloved pink camera around and snap loads of pics to post here. But then again, I'm very lazy to resize the pics leh. HAHA.


Anyway, I traumatised the poor Derrick today by eating pig's liver + kidney + small intestine soup from Alexandra Village in front of him. Should have caught that on my camera man. Erinna wasnt that traumatised in the sense that she eats the liver and kidneys too. Ha.
