Celebrated Sven, Shuling and Sirong's birthdays today!


Coincidentally, all three of them have birthdays within like 3 or 4 days of each other, so we lump them all together to celebrate.


And the venue is... *drumrolls*.. The Glass House!


Don't know why, today we were feeling damn high. Loads of stupid/funny/gross/amusing things happened today. Let me list them down one by one.


1. My stupid error


Today, I was supposed to meet them at The Glass House after their Vertical Marathon. Since the rest were at the Vertical Marathon, I volunteered the buy the birthday cake, and to hide it with the staff at Fish n Co before meeting them.


Wanna give them a surprise mah.


Who knows... I did something stupid.


Here's the convo that led to my stupidity.


Chao: "Sven, Kimberly said she was at Cityhall, and you said you were at Somerset. And she reached so much earlier!"


Sven: *muttered something that I forgot*


Me: "Ya lor! And I wasnt at the MRT can? I was at Citylink, getting the cake at Polar..."


*realized I blurted it out*


Chao: *raised eyebrows + stunned look + rolled eyes + "OH-MY-FREAKING-GOODNESS-HOW-CAN-SHE-BE-SO-DUMB??!?!?!" look*


Brian: *hands-to-face look*


Jiayi: *blur look*


Shuling: *LOL'ing*


Me: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ARGH!!!!" *torn between feeling dumb and laughing like mad*


Sven + Sirong: *(I was too busy laughing and crying to notice their expression) some kinda look*


Argh. My stupidity!!! Ruined the whole surprise!!!! =((((((

2. Camera.. Bo batteries


When the Fish n Co staff brought the cake out and got the birthday bunch to stand on chairs whiling giving them sparkles, I fumbled for my camera..


... Only to realize my camera's batteries are FLAT.


ARGH ARGH ARGH.


Missed the sparkles!


Luckily Laopo had her 3.2 mega pixel N73 -- that I'm totally in love with, but that's besides the point -- and we managed to take some pics with her ooomph phone.

3. Went high from time to time, laughing and giggling and laughing, and more laughing

4. Brian's in love with me***..


.. so much so he kept trying to take pics of me eating the Macademia ice cream with waffles.


In the end, he made me so awkward, plus the fact the ice cream was so cold, that I had to save the ice cream with my palm -- and they say I very unglam.

5. Brian the Saliva Spurtter


He spurt this DAMN HUGE DROPLET of saliva on my hands.


Further proof that the droplet of saliva was so huge, there was leftover after it spurt onto my hand to fall to the train's floor and splatter into like 3 or 4 droplets. All from that HOMONGOUS droplet of saliva.


It is THAT HUGE lor! Got surplus somemore!


I swear, it's bigger than a huge droplet of rain.


You tell me gross or not?


Ahhh.. Get me a sterilizer!!!!

Ooops. Sorry for the lack of updates. Was real busy with the lab reports and 111 assignments and all. Craziness. Sleeping 2.5hours a day can simply just kill me off (or rather, make me damn high and start laughing at the stupid-iest thing).


Sleeping 2.5 hours sleep also made me do stuff that I normally won't do.


Eg. Scold an this guy (Ah T****) by scolding Xiang.


Scenario:


*me walking back to my seat after a lecture's break to find that my lect notes were splattered with a huge coffee droplet*



Me to Xiang: "WAH! Who the hell splattered coffee on my lecture notes?"


*then noted the guy sitting behind me drinking coffee but was too late to take back my words, so I continue lor. Since damage is already done!*


Me: "Dunno who the hell so gross. Splatter already dunno how to clean it."


*by then Xiang too, noted the guy was drinking coffee*


Me: "Xiang, must be you right! Must be you drink coffee then splatter it onto my notes! Wah! So gross can!"


*Xiang burst out laughing*


*Guy behind me looked guilty*


*Me cleaned up my notes and walked off laughing like mad too*


Hai. This style is called 指桑骂槐. And I'm so guilty of it. *evil grins*


But hey, it's the 2.5hours fault k? I'm normally very nice and demure and innocent. *grins*

This year's CNY eve was one of the slack-est that I ever had.

With the exception of peeling millions of eggs: quail eggs and chicken eggs, I didnt really help much. *sheepish grin*

But hey! Eggs are difficult to peel k. I peel till I didnt even dare to eat the quail eggs during the steamboat.

A few days after the ASEAN Cup, me Xiang Erinna and Randy went out for late night supper at Upper Thomson's Casuarina Curry (think I spelt it wrongly).

So Erinna came over to my house to pick me before we went to pick Xiang up, and proceeding on to Yio Chu Kang to pick Randy up.

Along the way, we met with this damn complicated part of the road from BKE leading to SLE. It was like "Woah. This lane this lane! QUICK!! THIS LANE!!!! Later we land up at Kranji!"

But with my *coughs* good sense of direction *coughs*, we manage to reach YCK without getting lost. =D

After which, Randy drove himself home, and I took over the car to drive Xiang back!

Teeheehee.

The roads were rather deserted and damn fun to drive. I was driving at like 90km/hr (the speed limit) and I felt so slow. But being a *coughs* safe *coughs* driver, I didn't speed la.

Just that Xiang thought that I was going to get her killed with my driving.

Wahahahahahhaa..

I'm not that bad k? Just that I havent been driving for a damn long time, and that day was the first time in months that I was driving. Not familiar mah.

By the way, Honda Jazz is a damn cool car to drive. iLike.

On Saturday 3rd Feb, while I was dying from a high fever and dozing on the sofa, I got a call from Calvin asking me if I wanna go for Jue Dui Superstar Finals.

Of course I WANT!!!

Here's how the call went:-


Cal: "Eh you wanna go for Jue Dui Superstar Finals not?"

Me: "WAH!!! WANT WANT WANT!"

Cal: "haha.. Ok. I pass it to you tomorrow then."

Me: "hehe. Thanks thanks! Anyway how did you manage to get the tix ar?"

Cal: "Oh, my brother didnt want the tix and asked if I watch, I was thinking who the hell watch this kinda rubbish, and I thought of you and Xiang lo."

Best. Say we watch rubbish. Win liao.

But nevermind. Got tix cannot hiam. =)))

I managed to recover from my fever like overnight to go for the Finals! Before that, we went shopping with a few of the brotherhood people.

And guess what we saw?

Me and Xiang left quite early to go over to the Indoor Stadium. Think we alighted at the wrong stop and had to walk a loooooooooooooooooong looooooooooooooooooooong distance.

Due to all the constructions, we couldnt see the Indoor Stadium at all.

What's worse was that we didnt see any living souls around.

It was just us.

Thank goodness I talked Xiang out of wearing wedges, otherwise we would have killed our legs walking to the Indoor Stadium.

After like eternity, we finally see this

The great part was that we were sitting rather near the stage!

But the downside was, we were sitting on Daren's side instead of Diya's side. =((

So we were rather weird when we cheered and whooped for Diya instead of Daren. And we were wearing red and pink in the midst of the blues. =((((

The saddest thing of the night was Diya lost. =''''((((((

I've been having a real mad time recently. Really madness.

I went for the ASEAN Cup Singapore Leg like 2 weeks back with Erinna and Randy and Randy's friends (whom I don't know). Had a mad time screaming and yelling and what's not.

The atmosphere was great, with us doing the Kallang wave, and roaring our ROAR, and shouting "Referee KAYU!!" etc. (Not I scream la of course. I have got image one you know?)

One downside is that there's no replay screen in the National Stadium. So when something happens, eg. someone kicked someone and the latter got a yellow card, and I happened to be bending over scratching my leg, I would be damn stunned and start asking around "Eh! What happened ar? How come he kena yellow card??!!?"
