Me, Xiang, Uncle, Xiao Di, Brian, Ariyo, Shuling, Kelvin and Weichao went for steamboat (and BBQ) at Marina Bay yesterday.

Er, or rather, 2 days before.

Too bad SBB and ShuJing werent around, so our Sexy Family wasnt complete.

I think we made the wrong choice to go for the steamboat with the free shuttlebus provided. We kept asking the uncle at Marina Bay Mrt (ooh, is that called touting?) whether the chairs are yellow as that was the one we (me and Xiang) went back in JC days.

Uncle (not Sexy Uncle hor) : "Got got. Got alot of colours!"

Me and Xiang: "er......"

Uncle: "Ok la. I give you all 10bucks each."

Sexy Uncle: "We give it a try lor."

And true to the uncle's words, there were yellow chairs as the chairs were multi-coloured.

But anyway, the food were only so-so. So next time if you were to go to Marina Bay for steamboat, never ever agree to be cheapo like us and take the free shuttle, or you'll end up in the same situation.

Anyhow, the good company more than made up for the so-so food (the live prawns only had one ALIVE prawn -- the rest were all DEAD. !@#$%^&* ) The guys all cooked, so I mostly sat back and relaxed, resulting in the food on my portion of the hotplate becoming chao-ta. Oops.

Oh, and I see the potential in Xiao Di becoming a good chef. He looked like a Hokkien Mee seller frying hokkien mee, only that it was meat that he was frying. Not bad at all! Oh, and his butt nearly got burnt by fire.

I think the fire thought that Xiao Di's butt was rather alluring that they attempted to kiss his butt. =)))

Uncle was the Butter Man but Xiang took over his job and kept slathering huge amounts of butter everywhere. I think our side used up 3 packets of butter. OMGosh.

Brian on the other hand attempted to eat the Chilli Crab. But apparently the steamboat people were damn dumb. They didn't provide the erm, kiap kiap to crack the pincers of the crab, and Brian refused to use his teeth.. So all the crabs remained uneaten. The poor crabs have died for nothing.

Hmmm.. I had no idea what was happening on the other side of the table as they were too far away.

Anyhow, we went to Raffles City BK for a drink (ya, consisting of Coca Cola, Barley and Lemon Tea) before going home on the train. The train part was damn sickening. All the guys stood around me in a circle and talked above my head. !@#$%^&* And I think we were rather loud but who cares.

Sadly, we were having too much fun till we forgot to take pics. So no pics at all. =D
