Oh yes, and so I'm back from my grad trip that lasted from 11th to 25th May.
And though the grad trip had some minor unhappiness going on, we all had a blast. We took LOADS of pics (mostly in taiwan), and ate loads of good food, and laughed through our 15days together.
After coming back for a week, I kept wanting to go back to taiwan and hongkong and shenzhen. And the feeling is that I wanna go back there with the same bunch of people, and nobody else but the same bunch of friends, to try the new food, explore new places, and bicker like crazy together.
For the first time in a week, we finally met up today (alright, yesterday) for lunch and ktv and dinner and drinks at StarBUCK si. The feeling that I get now, is a totally comfortable feeling. It's the eight of us, and just the eight of us. Just like how we were a week before.
And towards the end of the day, though we normally end it with a simple dinner after ktv, we decided to go for a more elaborate dinner this time. Followed by drinks at our favourite StarBUCK si. It's as though everyone's trying to hold on to more time together, though we have had a long day and everybody's tired and all. Just one more drink. Just a few minutes more, a few more bickers, and a few more laughters before we embark on our different lives, to pursue our futures with PhDs or jobs or whatever.
It finally ended with me yawning every few minutes, with Xiaodi being lost in all conversations, with Boon not having the energy to bicker with me anymore, before we bade farewell to each other, and a promise to meet on the 11th for our next movie together.
And even though this sounds really cheesy and cliche, I will really look back to those memories (NOT the other one.) that we had in Taiwan, Hongkong, Macau, and ShenZhen and smile to myself. Chuckling at the stealing of underwear, the spicy fishball that caused droplets of sweat to be formed on the nose, the cycling with 3 half naked dudes, the liang teh that we forced the guys to drink before they were allowed to drink their mango drink to fight the heatiness, the bargaining in ShenZhen with the stunned SJ, the trudging around in HK with soaking wet shoes, the late night gossipings till 3am, and multiple attempts to murder the Hor Sok Jing.
Not forgetting the laughters, and yeah, much to my unwillingness to say this: bottom of the food chain and yada yada yada. Yes, I know, I'm trying to force Hor Sok Jing to the bottom such that I can escape from the bottom you know. I'm trying my darnest!
I apologize to the people that don't get what the hell this post was about. I'll be back with pics soon I hope. And till the 11th of June, I'll be recalling the fun times we had, and pray that there's a time machine that could transport all of us back to the time in Taiwan and freeze us there for at least 2 more months, 'cause the time seem to fly when we are having so much fun.
"I am PRETTY, accept it."
