And so, today started off erm, great I guess. I overslept, decided that since I'm not doing anymore experiments and there's no motivation to go to school early, I continued sleeping. I woke up refreshed, and everything was going pretty well until I happily went to buy bubble tea before going to school.


That's when I saw that the honey that the bubble tea auntie was pouring into the cups has loads of ants crawling all over.


Like ALOT ALOT ALOT.


I was stunned for a few seconds, and by the time I regained the ability to talk, the auntie has already started pouring the green tea into the cups.


Ahhhhh..


Having no alternatives, I started praying that the ants didnt die and get trapped inside the honey that the auntie was pouring, praying that the ants were just stupidly crawling outside the container and didnt manage to go inside the honey container at all.


I didnt even dare look at the 2 cups of bubble tea, but kept hoping for "No Ants! No Ants! No Ants!"



The cup that I was hoping for No Ants!


But all the hopes were all for nothing... 'cause I saw at least three drowned ants swirling around as I shook the cup. =((((


Looking at it, I was contemplating between feigning ignorance and drink everything down, but another part of me was so utterly grossed out by the thought of drinking ants down into my stomach when I KNOW that there are already ants.


After emo'ing for a damn long time, trying to scoop those ants up by the huge straw (useless attempt by the way), I decided to get this:

Thank goodness for the existence of the quad (+nanyang mart).


And I started fishing the drink for the ants.


And...



TADA!


Told ya there's 3 ants.


But my bubble tea didnt look too great after all the fishing.

But at least I can drink it happily now. =D


Oh, and the most annoying thing? Xiang's bubble tea didnt have any ants at all! I should have just gave mine to her, and let her drink without knowing that there are ants instead. As people say, ignorance is bliss. HAHAHAHA.
