Ho ho. I know I have so damn many freaking posts that I owe.. Thailand trip, JB trip, hell, even the Taiwan trip!
Can I just wave the white flag and say that I'm giving up on those posts? =X
Anyway, I'm rotting at lab right now, waiting for the arteries to be washed, and what better things to do than blog right. =D
So here's where I have been in my busy December. =))
1. Christmas Party with guides
The pretty Von and me. I miss her like crazy la.
We had BBQ at Melinda's house, and the food was damn good. We celebrated Yannie's bday that was on Boxing Day.

Paiseh girl. This is a little blur. Hee.

And I love this pic of her, throwing her head back laughing. =D
Then, Yannie didnt wanna cut her cake, and instead, used spoons to scoop huge mouthfuls of cake for everyone.

Here's Fen, Jaz and Qinghan looking all seductive.

And the gang of black: Ninny, Von, Yannie and Melinda, looing totally unglam here. Ha.
Vane who was in the vicinity pop by for awhile, and we seized the opportunity to take a group pic!

The NYGG'02 batch. Omgosh. We are getting freaking old. We have known each other for 10years now! O.O
And we found the Action City bread bun lying around on the sofa, and as expected with me, we camwhored with it.

Yannie and Me with BUNNNNNN.

Fen and Von wanted to devour it. =D

=DD
Oh.. And Ninny bought Christmas crackers instead of the normal cracker snacks that we asked her to buy, but it was just as well as we were already so darn full.

Camwhoring with the Christmas crackers No. 1

Camwhoring with the Christmas crackers No. 2

Camwhoring with the Christmas crackers No. 3
And we got a crown each!

Ho ho ho.

And the rest joined us. =DD
Last but not least, I spotted this damn adorable gingerbread house at Mel's house!

Freak la. So uber cute!! How can anyone bear to eat it?

2. Boxing Day Lunch with JC matesIt was the first time that we met up with Laoshi after all these years! (4 years to be exact.) Went over to IMM's Secret Recipe. =))
And as usual, we were camwhoring like mad after not seeing each other for so long.

Hongyi, Sid and Me. This pic is uber nice la. =D

Mariam and Me. Gosh. She's leaving for Brazil for her FYP soon. *envious*
Take care k girl? And goodlucks for your 30+++hours plane ride!
And as usual, the class manager was trying to organise stuff while the rest of us were happily yakking away, or in this case, taking picture of him.

I think he cant run away from leading the class even after so long. HAHA.
Anyway, here's laoshi with the guys!

All the guys except Edwin were present lo.

And us girls with laoshi! =))

And the whole bunch of us! Think the turnout was darn good.
Thanks Calvin for organising! =))
Then, some of us decided to not waste the day, and go prawning after the lunch.

At the prawn pond at Taman Jurong.

Erinna, who was so nice as to drive us all there! =))

Xiang and I.
Despite my smile here, I was feeling utterly sian as I didnt catch a single bloody prawn. Urgh.

Anna! Omgosh. She's forever looking so cute.

And Xiang with Momo chan.
The catch for the day was super pathetic, till I started mumbling nonsense when I saw this uncle throwing the prawn back into the pond as it was too small.
"
Uncle.. Don't throw it back ma... Donate to us la...." <-- really softly!
Who knows, I think he heard my mumbles that the next puny prawn he caught, he asked us whether we want it anot.
We excitedly accepted it.
And we started talking to the uncle, asking him how come he seemed to be able to catch a prawn every 10seconds, when we waited for practically hours, and the rest only caught one or 2 prawns each, and I caught NONE.

Evidence of our pathetic catch for the day.
Apparently, the prawns prefer earthworms, and not the chicken liver that we were provided with. And I suspect our line couldnt reach the bottom of the pond where all the prawns were crawling, or whichever movement they use to move around.
I think the uncle was super amused by this bunch of youngsters that didnt manage to even catch 10prawns between them, that he gave us his catch from that particular morning.
Originally, he wanted to give us the whole load full. But we only took half of it, and it already weighed 2.8kg, which came up to 70 over prawns!
O.O
But it was a day filled with fun despite our dismal prawn catching skills. =)))

3. New Year's Day with my Morning Glorians. We decided to share the first day of 2009 together, having a potluck at Ming's house, and I crawled outta bed at 8am just to fry beehoon which someone complained was full of soy sauce. *ARCHEMS*

'Feasting' at Ming's condo's function room.
We were feasting on my soy sauce beehoon + Ming's seaweed/beancurd skin chicken + Jiehui's wine + Weijie's jelly that has penguins + Wen's cha ye eggs + Ninny's drinks and chips.
Oh ya, we had this really impromptu gathering as Wen was back from Switzerland for the Xmas break!

This pretty girl was only back for such a short period of time =((

Legs caressing each other. Namely, mine, Ming's and Ninny's. HA
And through all the chats, they never ever fail to remind me of how I always add MSG into outdoor cooking food, and how I terrified Wen and Ming when they were in Sec1. Ahhhhh... My past is forever coming to haunt me.
Anyway, to end things off, here's a pic of my beloved MGians.

Loves.
"I am PRETTY, accept it."
