I have the most exhaustive dreams yesterday.


First, I dreamt that I was busy doing the research for the drug discovery assignment but cant find anything.


Then, I dreamt that I went for the session a lab, and the prof allowed me to change group 'cause I told her she's so much chio-er and slimmer than me. Like wth.


And yeah, I realized that all these dreams are 'cause I was so stressed doing the research on the drug discovery, and was trying to decide whether I should try to crash the session a lab for proteomics. And all these happened just before I slept.


Crap.


Anyhow, my birthday pics to be up soon! Thanks to all who msged me to wish me happy birthday! =))))

For those who complain that I havent been blogging (*ahem* there are like 5 people complaining that I don't update. hoho..), and for those that complained that I only have zipais on my blog (*ahem* jasmin *ahem*), well, let me prove to you that I can actually have a constructive post without any pic of me at all!


And for goodness sake, READ WHAT I TYPE LA!! (Calvin Tay, I know you are guilty of not reading what I type.) Don't just look at the damn pics! Or I swear I shall stop posting up pics and have every single post with words and more words!


As you all know, I had purple hair for quite abit.





Erm, for 2 weeks if you wanna be exact. =))


Then, I had enough of not being able to wash my hair at the portion of my purple hair properly.


I had enough of me not being able to comb the portion of purple hair well. (I'm perpetually worried that 'cause I cant comb it well, the portion of hair would not grow at the same rate as the rest.)


I was sick of the purple hair sticking out at weird angles 'cause I'm having short hair now, and they need to be in a certain angle, together with the rest of the hair, and the stupid purple hair just absolutely refused to do so for.. erm, 3 days. =D


They were tamed down by me anyhow.


But the last straw was the fact that my purple hair was fading to brown and pink!!


So I got my daddy dearest to remove the hair for me.


(For the uninitiated, I had hair extensions. 1 buck per bundle at Cityplaza. I did 10 bundles, yeah.)

She's rather skilled. Got the hair extensions done in like 15mins.


I think the longest part was with me deciding which colour to do instead of the actual clipping on of the hair.



But anyhow, back to the topic of todays post: Getting my hair extensions out. And so, my dad started the labourious task of un-kiaping the metal clips.


(Ok la, it's not that labourious. It's just that I wanna make my dad look even sweeter than he is for being so patient in un-kiaping all the 20 clips stuck to my hair as gently as he could without making my real hair fall out.)

Woah ho. All 10 bundles scattered on the floor.


I decided to make them tidier.

Anyhow, here are the clips that held those 10 bundles of purple hair to my black hair for 2weeks.

And I decided that I wanna keep them all as momentos. After all, I paid 10 freaking bucks for them la. Who in the world would throw them away just like that?


That's when I realize that the bottles that I koped from lab last summer finally came into use.



Smart? Ho ho.


And the tiny petri dish thing that looked so cute is useful too!

I'm back!


Normally when people blog, it's not a case of announcing their return. But not the case for my blog. I'm blogging like once a week (I hope!) till I feel so bad for not blogging.


The invention of the digicam is really terrible. It makes taking pics so easy. No worries about wasting the good ol film. You can take as many times as you want. Not nice? Retake!


Erm, that kinda resulted in me having soooooooooooooo damn many pics that I'm dying from resizing of pics. = S


To my dear cousins, please don't murder me for not blogging our pics yet ya? Soon I promise! Soon! =)


Anyhow, was chatting with Jie about japanese food. And we concluded, we hate SAKAE sushi.


Where have you heard of any sushi buffet that don't provide SASHIMI?


Isn't sashimi essential in a Japanese buffet?


No, apparently not to the Sakae management. 'cause they say "Buffet does not include Red Plates."


Then I go there and eat what huh? Rice is it? !@#$%^&*()_ Utterly irritating. From now on, I'm boycotting Sakae sushi unless I have no choice. The freshness of the food sucks anyway. Bye bye Sakae. I'm boycotting you.

The other day when Grace stayed over, we went for Subway. Oh ho ho..

Then, I went for the steamboat at Marina South. Yeah, it was the 2nd last day of operation before they get torn down for the redevelopment of Marina Bay --> Integrated Resort.

So many memories. Flying kites as a kid, having fun at the huge ass playground there with my family, and steamboats + bowling + arcade for jc till uni years. Sigh.


But anyway, we tried to have as much fun as possible to contribute to the everlasting memories. (Erm, me that is. I don't know about the rest.)

Then SJ tried to poke my nose with her chopsticks. So I poked back!


It wasnt before long that I spotted my 鸟蛋！





Reminded me of the 鸟蛋 that I ate in Taiwan (okok, I promise, pics up soon! Hee.), so I decided to fry it instead of boiling it. With the egg shells looking so gross, that's the only logical thing to do, no?


So, allow me to start a tutorial on the art of frying a 鸟蛋.



First, you crack the egg against something hard.



In this case, a table.


Then, you peel the egg shell open at the line of weakness.



Be careful. 'cause it's sooo tiny!


And you drop it onto the hotplate.



See? I got skill one k?


When the egg whites turn, erm, white, fold the egg into half.

Then, it's much easier to fry now!

And it's ready for consumption!


Too bad, the rest don't share my passion for sunny side ups. The Xiang even stole the egg white, and left me with the yolk. Bish.


Anyhow, towards, the end, there was simply too much food. So they had to cook everything.



Looks like they wanna feed a sow. Gosh.

After that, we went to Jurong Point (after so much discussion) to while the time away.


Coffee Bean was filled to the brim. So we had no choice but to go to Mac.


Ad Zhenwei bought his Diet Coke.



He kept insisting that it has zero calories and uses artificial sweetener.


He repeated like 5 times.


So we cant resist and...

This look is so damn hard to achieve. All the wax and hairspray and styling that the hairdresser did to achieve it. Gosh, I'm having such a hard time maintaining the look.


This means I must get up earlier than normal, wash my hair, blow it dry abit, then do all the waxing and blowing. All this so that I won't have weird portion of the hair poking out at weird angles.


Sigh.


I miss my hassle free long straight hair.

So here's the bbq at Erinna's house the other day. Sad that Xiang couldnt make it on the account of her wisdom tooth gave her a fever. Damn the wisdom. Why is it called wisdom tooth anyway? "Fever-inducing-tooth" is more apt.

And so we went to look for the both of them who were suppering at Bt Timah. Supper never tell us! Power hor? =D


And oh ya, Erinna Mom's car is real powerful. Ho ho ho. I like it oh so very much. Ho ho.


And the other highlight was me Erinna and Dylan stayed up all night to chat. Till 5am. That Derrick fell asleep. Lousy. ha.
